Thank you for visiting Totally Totes.
In late November 2008, I was laid-off from a high tech company in the Silicon Valley area of California where I was a Purchasing Specialist.
Due to the bad economic situation at hand and the lack of jobs, I realized that I needed to do something to generate income to keep my home. My passion as a child was clothing design and regret never pursuing it. I knew my sewing skills could be turned into something profitable.
I decided to start a small business making totes from recycled fabrics for shopping at your local grocery store and farmers markets. I started selling my totes at local Farmer's Markets in the South Bay. As of April 2009, I signed on with the San Francisco Art Commission to sell in San Francisco at Justin Herman Plaza across from the historic ferry building on the Embarcadero.
With a connection to the designer industry fabrics the business quickly expanded. These totes are simplistic in design to showcase the beautiful and unique textiles. The variation in sizes makes them versitile for many uses other than shopping for food.
Pick the size that works best for you. A small purse or a large carpet bag. Carry your craft or books, laundry, gym clothes, throw in a few diapers and a bottle for a quick baby bag. They are also perfect for your lap top or papers to/from work. The uses are endless. These are a great gift for someone in your family, a friend, and work associate.
I currently make and sell recycled totes, designer totes, biscornu's, plastic bag sacks, paperback book covers, wine sacks, luggage idenifiers, small travel kleenex covers, and small zip pouches for make-up or anything else you need to carry.
I am very excited about this new venture and hope you enjoy all the items I have made. You can see everything I currently have available in the photo gallery area. Please add me as a friend and check back in often as my products change weekly.
Thank you very much for visiting my site.
I hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I have enjoyed making them for you.
